Rapidform is the optimal tool to prepare 3D scan data, heavy polygon meshes, or even NURBS surfaces (Animatable surface) into high quality, efficient polygon meshes ready for animation & rendering.

Color & Texture Management
The advanced color management allows color 3D scan data to be optimized, and the software preserves texture/color throughout the clean up and decimation of data. 2D images can be attached to dense polygon mesh models quickly and easily, and the software freely converts between vertex color and attached texture maps.

Industry-leading Decimation & Polygon Clean Up Tools
Rapidform can quickly reduce dense meshes into low polygon count and high quality models that faithfully maintain the original model's geometry. It also offers a powerful feature to re-mesh the models to create equilateral and high quality polygons. To create a qualified polygonal model from raw 3D scan data, it can automatically remove crossing, non-manifold and other degenerate polygons, and fill holes intelligently based on surrounding curvature.

Polygon Morphing & Templates
Rapidform can morphs between two 3D models with blending the geometry of one into another. It also can create an ideal polygon mesh template, and fit the same animatable layout to other models.

The Most Comprehensive Tessellation Technology
Rapidform's tessellation technology creates defect free, watertight polygon meshes from surface data, automatically decimates and re-meshes the polygon layout to make an efficient, accurate polygon mesh from CAD data. The software automatically sews separate surface patches together and welds the polygons into a defect free, uniform and animatable mesh.

Animatable NURBS surface generation from polygonal model
Rapidform's polygon-to-NURBS feature can effectively patch and parameterize NURBS surfaces for high end graphics animation, which can be easily manipulated with other animation software.
