Quality Inspection

Rapidform XOV/Verifier provides some of the most advanced inspection tools for dense 3D scan data. With Rapidform, designers, engineers and QA experts can compare CAD design data to scanned parts, as well as perform a variety of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and create detailed inspection result reports instantly. Inspection results can be shared with colleagues and customers using standard formats (PDF, Excel, Word, Text, XML, and others), in interactive 3D over the Internet, or using Rapidform's free plug-in for Microsoft Office.

Rapidform XOV's innovative inspection technology features advanced automatic alignment, color-map-based deviation plotting, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing, and inspection result reporting. The software enables a design or production engineer to quickly verify manufacturing or prototyping results by comparing original CAD data with 3D scan data, and quickly analyze machining errors and various types of geometric tolerance. In addition, Rapidform XOV makes in-line inspection using dense 3D scanning devices a reality. Designed to maximize productivity, Rapidform allows users to automate an entire inspection process. With only a few clicks, multiple scanned parts can be compared, measured and reported. parts are inspected uniformly each time, with matching annotations, measurements and tolerance calculations. Rapidform XOV is the only point cloud software with 100% repeatable inspection and it offers higher accuracy and repeatability than any other 3D scanning software!
